Internet cafes are a great way to go online and have a great cup of coffee. However, with more people owning laptops and most cafes having free wireless internet, it's extremely possible to make an cafe an internet cafe.
Combine the delicious taste of gourmet coffee with your internet surfing. Or have a shot of espresso coffee as you become more productive working or studying online. The great thing about being productive at a cafe is that the scent of coffee beans alone can wake you up or be a constant reminder of how convenient it is to get coffee.
Are the growing number of people owning laptops threatening the very breed of internet cafes? With wireless internet becoming more and more accessible at other more conventional cafes, how is it possible for internet cafes to work, especially if they're charging by the hour or even by the minute? Libraries already appear to be receiving the population that cannot afford a computer. They also provide free internet use.
The key to internet cafes is to stop charging for computers or computer use. They can also have a reasonable cost for computer usage. The way to make money is over a period of time. The more people use the internet cafes' computers, the longer they'll stay and the more food and drink they'll purchase.
